Women in tech have come a long way in the last decade. In the early days of the internet, SEO was a brand new field and there were very few women involved. Today, SEO is a major player in anything and everything online, and women are at the forefront of the industry.
Women in tech are also making their mark in other fields, such as marketing, branding, TV, radio, and even motherhood. #HonoringWomenWednesday is a campaign started over a decade ago on Twitter and it was originally designed as a way to embrace all women in the tech community.
The movement started as Top SEO women ™ and has since grown to include all women from all walks of life. Being a woman in tech means building a strong network of supporters. Women who celebrate and support each other are more likely to achieve success than those who go it alone. So let’s take this opportunity to celebrate all the amazing women in our lives!
